  • Describe potential ways to fund a Clean Water Program
  • Share next steps and schedule
  • Hear your thoughts on program priorities and funding

The June meetings are the second in a series of public outreach opportunities the county is undertaking to explore long-term program and funding needs.  In December 2010, Mason County hosted four Open House meetings to begin the public dialogue.  Over 200 people either attended, sent letters, emails or postcards to share their thoughts on how to manage Mason County’s water resources.  Those attending the Open Houses also identified flooding, erosion, and water quality problems on maps.

Additional meetings are anticipated in November 2011 and spring 2012.
