CIP Sub-Committee Agenda & Audio 2024
The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Sub-Committee was formed by the Planning Advisory Commission (PAC) and consists of three members who are also current members of the PAC. The sub-committee does not constitute a quorum of the planning advisory commission and thus no official action on an agenda item may be taken. The committee is tasked with reviewing the annual Mason County Capital Improvement Program and communicating their findings to the Planning Advisory Commission. The ultimate purpose of the sub-committee will be a letter of recommendation regarding the current CIP under review. The letter will then go through the PAC where they will make the final decision to send the letter through to the Board of County Commissioners, with or without any revisions. The Board of County Commissioners make all final decisions on the annual capital facility budget.
Below are the dates for sub-committee meetings. These meetings will be available to the public through Zoom only. These meetings are work sessions of the sub-committee. Audio recordings will be available as soon as possible after the meetings. Public comment and testimony will not be taken but the public will have the opportunity to join the Zoom to listen.
Public comment and testimony will be open when the draft Capital Improvement Program and sub-committee findings are brought forth during a Planning Advisory Commission public hearing. Please check the Planning Advisory Commission “Meeting Agendas, Audio and Minutes” page for PAC meeting dates.
