The Elections Department administers all elections for the People of Mason County. Mason County currently has 45,000+ registered voters. Our elections include those for local offices, local measures, federal offices, state offices and statewide measures. As part of election administration, we register voters, maintain voter registration records, manage candidate filing for local offices, create and send the proper ballot for each voter, verify signatures on returned ballots, make the required efforts to "cure" rejected ballots, and on election night tabulate votes and release election results.

For each of these processes, we have strict security standards exceeding those set by law or state rule. Our office is committed to ensuring the security, transparency, and integrity of the election process, and that everyone has a good time.
