Patrol is the Law Enforcement heart of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. They are the first responders for almost every call initiated by the citizens of our County. In addition, they are the Traffic Enforcers for all county roads and the team from which are drawn, the K-9 Handlers, Marine Enforcers, SWAT and SORT personnel, School Resource Officers, as well as animal control and Block Watch support.

Patrol is currently divided into two teams, Green and Gold. Each team works 4 days on and 4 days off and is managed by a Patrol Lieutenant. Each team is further broken down into day and night shift and when fully staffed includes 1 Sergeant, 1 Corporal, and 6 Deputies assigned to each shift.
